This mini dvr supports 3 recording modes:
1)       Continuous Recording (C):  No matter there is a movement or not, it will keep recording all the time. This mode is suitable for some important places.
2)       Motion Dectected Recording (M):  The recording will be actived only when there is a movement, and recording will stop automatically once the movements finished.
3)       Mixing Recording (I):  When there is a movement the dvr will start recording and keeping recording, when movements finished and no any movements,the dvr will record 1 frame per second.
